Nothing really interesting happened today...until...when i was on my way home... waited quite a while...before the bus came... thinking that it would be like any other ordinary day...i boarded the bus...
At the next stop... SIM HQ... SHE boarded the bus... i was sitting behind...while SHE got a sit on the front of the bus... wanted to walk over...but was afraid to do so... Wactching HER back... i slowly dozed off.
When woke up... SHE was juz nice going to alight... SHE walked to the back door... me who was sitting just at the sit in front of the backdoor... thought that SHE would notice me... but SHE didnt... then i say(softly, not shout) and waved my hand... "Ms Fong...Ms Fong.." but she still didnt see.... then SHE got off the bus.
** for the benefit of those who do not know who is Ms Fong...she is my lecturer*** :P
Anyway... back to the main topic of the post... Today's post is a tribute to one of my fav anime "Kekkaishi" "结界师"...
So..what exactly is Kekkaishi? many would wonder.. (Since most teenager only follows the crowd and watch the all popular Bleach and Naruto ONLY.)

Thats the main character, Yoshimori(the guy) and Tokine(the girl). Little background info, both of them are Kekkaishi and their duty as a Kekkaishi is to protect a piece of land known as Karasumori. The piece of land... which now has their school built on it... In the morning it is like any other school...where students studies there and at the night.. it attracts monster as the piece of land is gives monster power.
What drives the young boy to perform his duty?
Description about the clip: The duo, are assigned to protect Karasumori since they are young. because of Yoshimori's incompetence... Tokine(being older than him) tried to protect him and got herself severly injured and left a scar on her hand... this scar reminded Yoshimori of the incident each time he sees it.
Yoshimori's goal is to be strong enough and seal up the land of Karasumori so that no one is needed to protect it anymore. and with that...the story continues...
Whats nice about this anime/manga?
To me..what i like is the simple skills that they used... which is to designate an area, create a barrier and destory the things inside it and also many other uses which makes it looks simple and complex at the same time :P And their second skill is to create a "aura" around them and destroy whatever it touches... although yoshimori had a different ver of this skill where he is able to allow people whom he wants into this "aura" also...
No fancyful skills, no crazy animation, just some skills that unique and not what you would thought of everyday. 9/10 for this
( the starting part is abit boring though... talks about the past life the the enemy before he turned into a monster)
As for the storyline, it has quite a typical plot i would say.... protecting a piece of land... like other have are protecting the world X,x... however the writer zooms in into a micro level and show what the main character is actually thinking... he does not really intend to protect the land... what he wish for is just to protect the girl from danger... and with just that simple goal in mind, he goes a long way... Whats good is that its more realistic and heartwarming...show what people would actually think and not like some other anime where "i have to protect the whole world" potraying a young small cute kid having to carry such a burden... such and stuff...9/10
YAWN...bored of so much crap? then take some action!!!! watch kekkaishi on crunchyroll(whole of season 1 should be up with eng sub) or watch it on cabletv channel 56 monday-friday@7pm (replay at 10am *not on monday*)
Anyway just to kill some time.. watch some cosplaying actions of kekkaishi below :D
