Water? Affected by our life emotion and many many things?

Jonathan shared that water can be affected by our emotion, thinking... How true it is?
He shared that if you shower a glass of water with love care and concern... and after a few days when you crystallize it, it will become very nice crystals...
However if you scold it everyday and after afew days when you crystalize it... it will form very ugly crystals.
Do you believe that water can actually detect our emotions and be affected by it?

In the anime they uses water to find out what powers the character posses...
When a person uses nen on a glass on water, the water would react differently base on what powers the person has.
If even Hunter X Hunter says so... IT HAS TO BE REAL
