WOOO HOOOO I just found a new LOVE

and he is our new lecturer Mr Louis.

The first time I met him was when I crashed the CHS global issues lessons... and i remember it was fun and interesting (though I cant remember the content of the first lesson except me drawing a circle and relating it to global issues)

Then the second time I went to his lesson... He learnt that I was actually not from his class... but he still welcomed me with open arms (he even gave me notes meant for the class). And he shared about his life which I felt was VERY VERY INTERESTING! something or rather...totally out of the textbook... Nothing out of the norm like.. things that are REALLY REALLY happening in the real world.

"Oh I studied in this school and that JC and this uni then major and this or that...."

And the best part is that he shared about his job(other than that of an adjunct lecturer) that was damnnn coool and all the other expereinces that he had... and the vast knowledge that he has (or at least from my point of view)...

** at this point of time... a group of Netigators came to me and wanted to share with me about chritianlity, then I point one of the guys and say that he had already shared with me.. then they walked off **

Continueing... Its fresh too and more personal, not just something that was gotten from the website and say... "here... see this..." but rather its the "I"...

If that wasnt the best part, why would our lecturer be finding so many guest speakers to speak to us everytime then? we could have just googled "successful life stories" and many stuffs would have popped out...

And its stuffs on a personal level, like a friend and no barrier... After Mr Wong... he is the second lecturer/teacher to impress me with the styl3. Mr Louis and Mr Wong are both very interesting and fun-loving people... but in different area of life, scope of life and style.

And the best part is... he brought glenn to this event... as MR GLENN DANKER and MR LOUIS NG... and not as MR LOUIS NG and Student from diploma in business and social enterprise.

AWWW!!! I am still so regreting that I didnt 硬着头皮 and request to go for the thing glenn went!!!

Before I end off... Look... He is young, sweet, fun-loving，多才多艺(heard that he can sign too), and RICH too!?!?

Case Study:
Say...I have a friend, X. and One day...he told Person A something...then next he went on to tell Person B something else and said that what X told A was just to make A happy(white lie). But have you ever wondered? That B could be the one who had fallen for the white lie("made happy") instead? or rather, they could be a Person C, Person D.... and the list goes on too?

If one could lie to another today, what makes you think you cant be the next tomorrow?

But what makes this process difficult and complicated... its the interaction between human and human. If you are the only person in the world, many things would have been much simpler.

Long time no see....

Today was a fun cool fun nice fun happy fun day
One day after HMS LAC Pre-Camp
It was HMS EXCO outing

What was done was basically
~~Badminton~~ (cancelled)
Bowling
Swimming

The morning started off with eating breakfast at LOT ONE foodcourt... I had a chicken shredded hor fan followed by a ICED MANGE W/ ICE CREAM!

After that went bowling... OMG... TALENT is spelt as "KAY YONG" now... My score was on par with Wayne for the FIRST GAME(only the first) even though with my so little playing experience....BUT GRRRRRRR... we play a total of 3 games... and the last game was a BET... the losing team had to treat the other team drinks... EVIL WAYNE KNEW THAT MY HAND WAS TIRED SO HE PURPOSELY PROPOSED THIS. and yea... my team lost :(
But one thing we learnt from this last game... EXCOs ARE THIRSTY PEOPLE! the moment this bet was made...the score SOAR HIGH UP... EVEN HIGHER THan the sky that it nearly reached heaven.

Next comes swimming... the first thing we saw before going to swim was the "no TEE SHIRT sign" and TADA! thats it for the girls... but no fear... after going through LAC precamp... we were much more adventurous and decided to just go in and try... and YES...as you might have guess... we, or rather, they were caught. but the kind life guard allowed us to play one more round around the lazy area... So just before completing that round...we went on "shore" and discussed about our plans~~[actually its just the girls...i dont have much rights D:]~~ then after a LONG while of discussion... one of the life guard saw us and give us one chance and allowed us to play for the day.. but of cos..the next time we go... have to remember to Tee shirts....

PLAYINg with water was LOL. Cassandra's actions..TOTALLY and i mean TOTALLY reminded me of JunHao and JunJie (two pri 3 kids whom i play with)... She was like "HIAR! HIAR! HIAR!" as she splashed the water and she even used the legendary "XIANG LONG SHI BA ZHANG!"

For a moment... i nearly NEARLYplayed together with her... but heng...never spoil image! HAHAHA!!! OMG...lucky she was same age..if she was younger i think i would have joined in already XD

and and...Jasmine said that I have 4PACKS! WOOOOO HAHAHAHA.... not only "TALENTED" is spelt as "KAY YONG" but even "FIT" is spelt as "KAY YONG" now

After a long day of exercise... its finally DINNER TIME!!!

but sadly...Jasmine was going home for dinner and not joining us :( :( :(

Then we took the bus to JP where we are going to have dinner... though i was seated further from the others(and was sleeping alone)... my ear sensed that someone mentioned my name and i was expecting them to scare me once it reach... but LUCKILY... one kind uncle wake me up at just before i reached the interchange...so it was SAFE!

We walked around JP hunting for food...and Tecky came to join us after he finished his long day of work... we went to DING TAI FENG to eat... my first time eating there...and we had XIAO LONG BAO too...my first time eating it... Ibroke my first XIAO LONG BAO and the soup spilled off.. but with "TALENTED" spelt as "KAYYONG", I was able to eat my second XIAO LONG BAO without any spilling! WOOT!!

Then after that go home... First thing was on laptop then my brother was "last game..." and DING DONG DING DONG... i went and play...halfway while playing my father came in and asked..."havent bath arh?" I was like...erm...bathed already just now outside.. omg...its such a stupid lie..i can tell that my father know it but was just too lazy and tired to scold me thats all... but HAHAHA..NVM... just continue playing... but acutally hor...I wasnt lying too...I BATHED after the swim...

So...thats about all for the day... or maybe...just a brief summary... hands are too tired to type more actually....

Its FINALLY THE SECOND WEEK OF HOLIDAY!

Starting from the first few days of holidays...

Saturday! - I took my first step and went to start to prepare to learn driving. Went to BBDC to register but TOOK a long time to think if to register under school or private candidate...and AFTER A LOOOOONG TIME... Finally! its decided! I applied as a school candidate :D And many thanks to Jason for bringing me there and accompanying me throughout the whole process (and watching me calling so many people to ask if private or school is a better choice XD)

Sunday - Went for briefing and then wait for Jason to finish his prac lesson before heading back... and I suggest going to Tiong to EAT...and GUESS WHAT WAS FOR LUNCH!?
Its the NEW STALL, LOCATED at OLD SAKAE! and the name of the new still is..........
EIGHTEEN CHEFS! HAHAHA I even though i went to the Simei outlet before but because the ordering form is different...I didnt know how to write and had to ask the person to teach XD

MONDAY - I think stayed at home...couldnt really remember what happened... and then brought my brother to TIONG to try out EIGHTEEN CHEFS!

TUESDAY - Went to school to settle some stuffs and then went home... LinFang and Jason was at my house playing and treasuring Jason second last day before he goes into army...

Wednesday - Went to bugis to have lunch then went home

Thursday - Had lessons as usual

AND.. FINALLY! TODAY! FRIDAY!

FRIDAY - Went to BBDC to attend my 2 basic theory lessons... and then went home... and quickly CHIONG TO BOOK MY BTT! WOOT and lucky little me...managed to get the last slot for 2nd Oct... though its 9am.... but no choice since I have camps on the other days....

Basically, it is an evening where we just put our assignments aside (but not forever, unfortunately) and pause to appreciate and bond with the people in our faculty. There is no better way to do so other than watching a movie which the HMS Freshmen have voted for! There will also be free food provided. The details of this event are as follows;

A Story when I was in Sec 3, Preparing for ATC campfire

During my Sec 3 NPCC year, I was appointed as the organiser for Area14 ATC campfire.

During the planning phrase the team had afew meetings and an incident happened while me and my partner (Merlvin) was on our way to the meeting place at Queenstown Secondary School.

Merlvin and I were walking from Tiong Bahru Plaza to the opposite bus stop that day.
While we were walking we saw 2 person who looked very familiar so we decided to stop and ask them...

Merlvin and Me: Hey...you 2 look very familiar, you 2 from NPCC?
Them: ya... you inside campfire committee?
Us: ya...
Them: Wa... you also inside arh... that STUPID KAYYONG also ask you to go? **At this point, I was too stunned to say anything, and cant stop laughing**
Merlvin: ya lo that stupid kayyong also ask me to go...
Them: continues and blah blah blah until....
Merlvin says: Actually...you know arh...the person standing beside me... he is KayYong lei...
Them: O..

And poof! they CHIONG and board on a bus...and didnt come for meeting

Thats roughly what happened... and yea... lesson learnt

Well... ever thought of how on EARTH did those people found out about electricity... gunpower...fuel... this and that this and that... all the greatest invention over time.
But why, in this era... it doesnt seems to have any or much of such people who will leave down the legacy of inventing/creating something anymore?

Is it because humans are not as smart as we used to be?
Or is it we are not so lucky enough to so coincidentally discover new things?
Or could it be the fault of the society and environment we are living in now?

Look at the children nowadays... especially those who live in the city. Whats our everyday life? Everyday is going to school,study then going back home and do homework, relax or play. During our leisure time what to do then? Go out and catch a movie and blah blah blah...

Question is, do you agree that we(those living in city) have a lower chance of creating/inventing new things compared to those people in the past?

Now Now Now... Over the centuries... people have defined the word " love " so very differently... from the BGR that we all know... to family love... to agape (unselfish love of one person for another without sexual implications) which in chinese is called "博爱". No matter in what kind of "love" theres one thing that is constant in all and thats committment.

Friendship... Boyfriend...Girlfriend... Parents... Sliblings...

Lets just say...when you first meet these people, whats most important is of cause, the first impression. The first impression I am talking about here is not on how you think that person is on the first time you meet him... is he a good person or a bad one, even before you actually know him... but rather I would like to focus on the FIRST IMPRESSION, the impression that he first gave you when you all became friends... when you all know each other... It is at this point of time, that the word "commitment" takes places...

Some people may think that commitments are limited to things that they do like for example, being in a academic society of a school, going for night classes to learn new skills and stuffs like that. But in actual fact, in the soceity we live in these days, most of us are committed to the same thing, which is to make love(building up of relationships, friendships and all other ships).

Like what one of my friends told me before... that is that person spends time to keep in touch with her old friends. This, is a form of commitment too... you are committed to maintaining that relationship.

That was on Saturday. For Sunday, at night there was this fundraising event by Asiasoft. They fundraised by selling in-game items. Weapons scrolled with 5x10% scroll. The most expensive item sold was Purple Dragon Sleeve (I think its this name) for a total of $6950 SGD.

All the amount raised went solely to Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore (MDAS) and the straits time school pocket money fund.

Just the weekend before...the Saturday to Sunday... was have a camp.... known as the..

LEGACY CAMP!

So there goes the camp... with some ICE BREAKING games... followed on by STATION GAMES... and it came NIGHT WALK

Night walk was... a long walk... from school to sunset way...and back to school... and what we have to do? Reached school back before the candle burn finish... and what could we do while walking? obviously its nothing but TALKING and TALKING...

Then the best part came... which is personality test...and guess what?

So heres a little update on the happenings this weekend in case people complaining about me not updating...

So starting off with Friday...

after lesson went to do IS workplan... Then after that walked with Wee Kiong to HI club open house to take a look... but here's the best part... we were walking walking to LT24... and just when we reached LT24,with Wee Kiong behind me, i opened the door... and once i opened the door... i saw Pei Xuan, my secondary school classmate, and it was like so automatic that I just walked over and talk with her... It was only after MINUTES and MINUTES of talking that i realise something...

"EH... WEE KIONG NOT WITH ME!!!"

Crap... then excused myself for awhile... and went out to look for Wee Kiong and realise that Rotary forum was just next door and wanted to sneak in to take a preview and see if i can find Tecky... but once i reached the door I saw "DOOR GODS" (门神）And I knew that entrance would be denied so i just turned back and continue my seach for Wee Kiong...

Then I saw Him... but he was walking in the opposite direction that I was walking so... Yea... just told him that I will be inside the room...and POOF... I went back inside the room and continued my Chat... Opssss There's just so many things and gossips to talk about Talk for hour and hours until go home still talking and even on the bus still talk non-stop sia... then went back home was sleep and stuffs...

then Saturday came...
Woke up not so early... then was beside my com... playing Patapon once in a while and clicking F5, ctrl+tab and then F5 again... reason for doing so? Refreshing to see if Katekyo Hitman Reborn! lastest anime out already or not and also if some others manga out already or not...

Until afternoon when one of my brother friend came and brought his young cousin along... and there... my weekend part to job... to babysit his cousin... "tutor" him maths... tried to explain to him... he was pri 3 this year...and yea... i think i just confused him even more...

Then come Sunday... where i basically... slacked through and read bizcomm textbook...

A add-on to the previous post.

Should we use positive terming and avoid negative terming?

After asking this question to Mr. Andreas,

and the answer he gave

I remembered the answer that I told Chris/Jason some time back while we were having lunch...

Mr. Andreas pointed out that words such as "blind" "handicapped" "disabled" may come across as a more strong word compared to positive terming such as "physically challenged" "visually impaired".

However even so, it does not mean that we should avoid this word. Instead of avoiding this word, we could just use this word openly, it could in a way, help to test and build up the self-esteem of these people.

And like what I told Chris/Jason... It would be alright if everyone just keep on avoiding the use of negative terming.. but what if just this one day... this one person used a negative terming on a handicapped person... would the person be able to take it?

It might be the first time he heard someone using the word "handicapped" on him... and the impact might be too big for him to take it...

But however, if we had been more open and used these "stronger" words more often, the person who is handicapped might be able to take it more easily and might not have felt that hurt.

Third Revolution

Couple of years ago... I was on my way to my aunt's house to stay-over, when I realize that no one was home at that time. Not knowing what to do, I went to lot one, library and grab a book to read. It was a book on "Revolution". Couldn't remember what exactly was the content but could remember it was talking about a change... A change in what the people was doing... If I am not wrong... It was the removal of changing sacrificial rituals.

Recently... just met with a lot of people... talked about some stuffs... realized I was lost...

Lost...

Lost within myself...

Lost for the past year...

Lost within the teaching...

Forgot...

Forgot about the teachings I was taught...

Forgot about the teachings I learnt...

Last night was a long night... A night with many thoughts...

Thought about what I was talking to a volunteer named Jian Sheng(I think)..

Someone... who is sincere and admirable...

Not through words... but with actions

Though about what my current IS/I&E teacher said in class

Somehow... all seems to be linking with one another

Heres a question...

If one day your friend tells you this sentence...

" I am a very humble person "

Would you have believed that sentence?

Obviously not... That sentence itself is contradictory to the content...

In the field of social work, work interacting with people, vulnerable group...

And a certain phrase...a certain set of sentence would come out...

"Ok we must not discriminate anyone... no matter who they are... how they may be..."

"Ok ... So we are going to help such and such group of people... you must remember... they are this this and this... you must becareful with your speech... you must not do this not do that... we are going there to help them..."

Funny isn't it?

I do not mean that we should not becareful with our words, we must still be sensitive about the words we say... the term we use... I am not really sure and its quite hard to express what I am thinking in mere words...

Watching videos... Reading this post... Will not let you understand and learnt everything... Experiential learning is good... But would it be possible to look beyond just the term and saying "you are going there to help people" I am not saying that this is wrong... but its a matter of how are you going to look at this sentence...

I would say that...

We are not going there to help the people... many of them are just like us... who can socialize, play and think as good as us or maybe even better... like what our course lecturer would say... we need to find a business model to help them.... but i would like to put it in a more simpler and general term which is... we need to do something about the system that the people are living in...

To Jian Sheng whom i mentioned about... he did community service/volunteer work and mostly its for the physically handicapped people... he mentioned that when doing all these... instead of "helping" them... he would rather put it as "making friends" with them... reason being? they are just like us... they can talk... play...think and do most of the things like us.. just that they may meet with some difficulties when doing these tasks...

And WOW... It has been long since I ever heard such an answer... such an answer which I would say... a revolution...a change... to the traditional answer that people would give... like... "O...they need our help" "O... how could this have happened"

Nothing is wrong with these actually, but I am just tired of hearing people saying the same things over and over again... at almost everything.

Heres a question to whomever may be reading it... maybe the PCS people might want to ponder about this question...

"What would you consider as discrimination?"

So what to you... Is discrimination?

Using the word "maid" on foreign domestic workers is considered discrimination?

Using the word "handicapped" on a physically disabled person is considered discrimination?

So do you consider discriminating your friend.. when you give them nickname like... "stickman" when they are really skinny... See.. almost every word that we use on others can be considered discrimination... But do we really see it as discrimination?

Not really I suppose... and I am not trying to imply that we must use those words on the people... but could we just... look beyond just mere words? But do we really have to be so tactful of our words even when you are around with people that you know?

Lets say you may start doing volunteer work for a VWO or NPO since many years ago... and you met this physically disabled person... and even up till now... say... after knowing for 5 years... you are still tactful of your words or always avoiding certain words... I am not trying to imply that we MUST use those words to show that we are close...

And to discriminate means to label; or to categorize in a sense.. As i remember once when I was talking about this to Sheryl... and yes... she taught me this... "its human nature to classify things" and yes we all cant deny it can we?

Be it positive labeling like "vertically challenged" for people who might not be as tall... or in a negative labeling its know as people who are "short"

But what difference does it make? it just make you more... Tactful... High-Class... Professional...

But deep down... do you think that the person you are saying this to does not really know what you mean? I believed that they might be "vertically challenged" but they might be as smart or smarter than us.

Just before I end off, I would just like to make a point that...

Since we could have moved from the traditional style of social work style which is to avoid everything which is sensitive....

Into a second generation which is using positive labeling terms..

Why not for now... lets bring in a new age... a new generation... a revolution... lets look at the labels now which are considered "negative labeling"...

And give it another look... a more positive look at them... a more positive look at words like "disabled" "short" or even "maid"

What I felt was wrong in the second generation is the way many people in the society look at the mere words that they see... but could they look deeper? Deeper into the meaning instead of just the superficial words... "Term" "Labels" and "Words" are just things that people in the past came up with to help convey message much more efficiently... but these days... we are looking too surface of these "words" as we are getting lazy.... lazy to understand what these words truly meant.

Thats why, a "Third Revolution" in the Social sector is essential

So much has happened lately... or are they just all related to one another?

Some things that some people would says

I always thought that this is quite crappy but well... maybe not now...

I have this friend name Jonathan Lau. Whom Sat beside me during sec4, whom joined the same course as me in poly but different class.

And because of different class, we didnt talk to one another... as in really talk that kind.. for quite a while... days? weeks? or even months i guess.

but well, thanks to the recent happenings... it gave us a common topic for him and me to talk about...and guess what?

I just realise that everything was still like it was in sec4s. How we would get excited when we hear some gossips... how we would disturb people... how our fantasy would fly and think of so many things that didnt even really happened. All in the name of FUN.

Nothing much to consider about, Nothing much to worry about and saying "just do it only... dun care"

carrying out the saying " Real man no need excuses" which was said by Damien during Sec 4

LOL!!! TECKY SHOULD HAVE SEEN WHAT HAPPENED AT OURSPACE ON THE MONDAY AFTERNOON!!!

The arrival of the new batch of HMS students started of with FOC09 from 13 APRIL to 15 APRIL

It all started on 12 April, Day 0

The Day where all EXCOs, GLs, SMs had to report for briefings and more briefings for the camp.

Went in late as I went to church in the morning for Easter

Well, though I was late, I made a huge contribution to the camp by STEALING alot of FREE SHAMPOO given out at the church which was used by the people in the camp :D

OWELL!!! NOT TO MENTION... THAT DAY WAS MARWIN's BIRTHDAY TOO... Weiting and Hongling went to EXPO to SURPRISE HIM. WITH ME ACTING AS THE MIDDLEMAN and with so many MISS-communications. But well... EVERYTHING ended well.

After that we went off to school. While arriving, we gave a call to those who had already reached to ask if they needed anything from BUKIT TIMAH MARKET. So those EARLY BIRDs took down their order and send me an SMS of it. As the message was still in mid-air flying over to me... I gave them another call and told them that am not going to market anymore... and halfway through the call, I received that message.

Gave them the hope that someone will bring food and drink to them

But only to destroy it minutes later.

Then came night where we went to have dinner at BUKIT TIMAH MARKET

After eating... Went back to our MEETING ROOM 03-4 FOR the FINAL BRIEFING for FOC Day 1

Then... LIGHTS OFF at 12

NEXT CAME FOC DAY 1

Next they went on to have a mass dance. After dancing.. FINALLY ITS MEAL TIME! Didnt have time for breakfast...FEEDBACK FEEDBACK!!! EVERYTHING JUST STARTED TOO EARLY

Then came Team-build games, where I followed Aspen for their first station which is Flourry Ping Pong before I went off to prepare Logisitics for Night Games.

After preparation... slack for awhile... before going back down to join in...

NEXT COMES AGAIN... MASS DANCE!!!

Ever wondered why there are so many mass dance session? Reason being, there is a Inter-School Mass Dance competition. But no worries...We have our Great Dance lead by Matthew and Jasmine.

Hm...Then its dinner... but what comes after Dinner? OF COS!! ITS NIGHT GAMES

Stay at the WATER BOMB fight station and played there..

Crap... Its only 4 days... And I have forgotten the game name already...

Then after night games was LIGHTS OFF!

Well.. For campers only that is... For GLs and SMs and all of us... We still have our very touching and loving DEBRIEF of the day and BRIEFING for the next day, which ended at like... 2+ 3+ I think... YAWN x1000000000

NEXT CAME FOC DAY 2

Second Day Started off at... 9AM

What luxurious life... Well.. Had breakfast at start... Next was the start of the amazing race.. which know nothing about... as I was slacking at the eating area and was EATING and EATING

Then not long after... the freshies they set off for their amazing race...

While they are busy with their amazing race... we were in school busy with preparing for campfire...

When the campers come back from amazing race... they are to report back to the SPORTS FIELD.... I was SLACKING and SLACKING there... until... WAYNE CAME ALONG and..

"HELP ME TAKE DOWN THE SCORE and ...

I could not even catch clearly how he said to take down the markings... but AIYA...

TRIAL AND ERROR ROX FOREVER

So... tOoK DOWn the marks for... 3... or maybe 2... there was some discrepancies with the last group so I handed it over to Yong Chuan to settle it.

Then was Campfire preperation and Dinner and A short preparation time before campfire started...

Then came campfire... and some party night thing...

Then campers went back to sleep... Lights off at 2am

Then came again... another night of DEBRIEFING... but luckily no BRIEFING..

One good thing that happened during debrief that night? We had mcdelivery :D

Had a McSpicy Meal

Then went back to bunk to eat before setting off..

Off? To where you may ask... TO MORE SUPPER OF COS... Went to the dunno what AL-SOMETHING SOMETHING there to have...

one more Prata Plain... and one PRATA EGG

But...the best part of the whole day... was not the campfire... not the amazing race... not the supper... but whats about to happen...

AFter eating... we went back... only to hear that theres alot of noise... SO... LAST MINUTE DECISION... BuNK INSPECTION...

Went from the top floor and all the way down to catch people...

And... TECKY! captured the hearts of all the girls with his 3 sentance pick-up line...

Tecky: Don't look at me, just move!

But... sadly... no one understand what he aCTUALLY MEANT... It was supposed to be 4 liner... his final and most important pickup sentence was left out... the actual phrase should be

NEXT CAME FOC DAY 3

on day 3 of the camp,
Tecky woke up all of the guys in the bunk.
all. and none of us had any memory of it.
hahaha. apparently all of us went back to sleep after he called us.
oh man.

and the story goes.

He went into the guys bunk at 730 to wake us up.
first was yong chuan.
tapped him and he woke up, sat on the bed.
then he went to tap ivan and daniel.
daniel open his eyes and stared at him.
ivan replied that he heard tecky.
went into mine and darren's room.
tapped both of them and woke them up.
I gave the "oh shit im late" look with a jerk and grabbing my handphone.
and darren stared at me blankly.
went into chongtak's room.
saw him using his phone.
so tecky just said "eh chongtak, u woke up already"
satisfied with getting everyone up, tecky went out of the apartment.

and all the guys went back to how it was... at 7.30 AGAIN!

then at 8.55... Darren came running up to the bunk and panicking... and he woke me up and said this

Darren: Quick... wake up... Faster... Tecky angry already... he say if we don't reach by 5mins he will just start without us... he give us 5mins only...

SO I CHOING DOWN... WITHOUT EVEN BRUSHING MY TEETH LO! OPS!

Then went down for... prize presentation.... And phototaking session... and everything... before going back to the bunk to pack bag and of cos.. not forgetting.. TO BRUSH TEETH

Then went to transfer stuff from Loft@94 to Old Childcare then to HMS office

Then went to LT twenty-something to attend the... BRIEFING for freshman.. which i just fell asleep behind... AND WTH!!??!?! I DIDnt SEE JIATRU WHO WAS SITTING BEHINd TOO

Then went of too 52 05 01 TO HAVE... FREE LUNCH!!! LOL

It was so free that many people took alot that there was not enough and had to went back to LT to DA PAO

Then was the OPTIONAL TOUR... which a total of 8 people took part in PCS and BZSE room...

Slacked for awhile after that... then went on to Alumni for dinner... and had HEART TO HEART TALK. Chapter 3.0

After that then went back home to... DOTA and DOTA and DOTA... until falling asleep in front of laptop before really going to bed..

OK... i have been complained about not blogging something nice and juicy for a long time

The following post is very serious, and it is no laughing matter, so take it seriously as you are reading it.

Just recently... I heard a rumour... a rumour about someone... Someone who says that Outram NPCC is lousy... As a instructor there, how can I ever take this.

Some of my friends told me this.
"If I were you, I would have go and find him...and just wack him"
"That guy deserves to be wacked, in secondary school alot of ppl not happy already..."

But well, there are some... who gave this advice
"He is childish one... no need to stand as low as him...."

And yes... I think that the last advice was good. Why should I... go down so low... as to compete with someone... who MOLESTED A GIRL BEFORE ... Yea... I agree too... its not as if like i molested someone before... got no ground for competition too...

Why should I... a CI... who pass out from 73rd batch CIBTC go and argue with someone... who BEGGED to let him become a CI...but was REJECTED

18th Birthday

Yes... as the title suggest, its delicated to this special day

It all began on 13march {Friday 13} night. At 7pm, after dinner, my brother and I tried to upgrade my World-Of Warcraft (WoW) trial account to the normal kind one online... BUT FAILED AND FAILED... so at 8pm, no choice, had to FLY down to Funan to get the retail game to upgrade account.

After that Play Play Play, until 12++am... SUDDENLY... SOMEONE KNOCKED ON THE DOOR, AND THE PERSON EVEN blOCKED THE THIng... TO SEE OUTSIDE! Wa, i thought who sia, so i got my mother to wake up too, just in case its some bad people or what... then after that went to open the door and see that its Shaun and Marwin, with a Birthday Cake. Then eat and chit chat for a while... and PLAY WITH HONGLING FOR A WHILE, AS HER FIRST AND SECOND secret ADMIRER

After that... they went off... and continued my WoW session till around... 4 or 5am... before taking a nap... till 11AM. WA BLUR... wake up so late... but then... continue playing again...till around 2... and went off to Chinatown to get presents. AND GOT MY LAMBO SHIRT...

Then after that went home and changed, prepare, and went for family dinner.

GUESS WHAT, my father wanted to bring the family out to dunno where to eat... then he drive drive drive... halfway... (all has been translated to english) "Cannot find the place, I think I go wrong place, we anyhow find one place and eat then" So... he drive drive drive... until found some seafood resturant at dunno where, quite ulu one...then ate there. and after eating... ATE my SECOND CAKE of the day.

Then after that...went down to PS to meet WTAG. and then... met at starbucks... and HERE COMES MY FOURTH CAKE OF THE DAY

A combination of 8 flavours of cake :D which i still has quite many of them left in my fridge of today... SO SINFULLY FATTENING. Then... here comes my task... To find 8 envelop at PS... So...walked one round... and cant find anything... WALKED FOR THE SECOND TIME, well... it could be at the super market..so went in... and "FIND" and shun bian bought some sushi...soft drink.... before going back... with no envelops..

Then reached back... then they put all the envelops... at locations NAER THEM. YEA. TRICK. CUNNING WOMEN. CHEAT MAN's FEELING. so found here and there...each person had at lest one with them...inside bag, jacket and all..and some at random places... THE WORST ONE WAS THE ONE GABRIELLE SITTING ON.. OMG SO SMELLY... AND WORST... SHE DOESNT WAN TO GIVE IT TO ME... until VERY LONG LATER.. then before going off...they passed me my present.. which is wrapped in many layers too.. but instead of NEWSPAPER, THEY USED TOILET PAPER

So all in all, This year... I OFFICALLY HAS 5 NEW TOPS. OMG. CAN WEAR ONE FOR EACH SCHOOL DAY, UNIFORM..

After that...went home... so...Final question? What happened to Hongling's Birthday then? due to some accidents.. IT BECAME ON SUNDAY. and HERE GOES.

SO WOKE UP... and played for awhile :P.

then went off, to fetch Ken from TPY INT before going to her house and secretly prepare...

HAD baLLOonS and all.. while blowing balloons some burst.. and WE SUSPECTED THAT... some pieces of the balloons FLEW into the FISH TANK..but it couldnt be found later... maybe the fish e** it.. SHHHHH

and before she came.. WE QUICKLY.. HIDE InsIDe HER ROOM. and WE CAN HEAR HER talking with her mother and WE HAD TO ENDURE.. CANNOT LAUGH NO MATTER HOW FUNNY THE CONTENT WAS.

Then had balloon fight... and HAD the 5th CAKE for 2 days. PIANG

After everything.. .went for Dinner(SUPPER) eat eat eat... then went home.. POOR KENN, got CHEATED BY THE STALL, his wanton noodles... NEVER COME... and had to eat 4 POPIAH instead.

Then went home.. and continued my WoW session.

The Past Few Days

This post will start off from Saturday

Started off with having AAR for NPCC orientation camp. Was just reading reflections while they are having the AAR. Halfway through the AAR, one old uncle, who is doing those roadside stall selling magazine, things fell. Wanted to go out and help, but then hesitated, was kinda lazy. Finally, went out to help that uncle only after jianzhong asked. If it wasnt for jianzhong, i might not have went up to help. So for the first time, instead of scolding him, I want to thank him :X.

To my amaze, after we went out, some of the Sec4s followed too and help out.

After AAR, we carried on our secret plan which is a surprise for SiHui as that day is her birthday. Birthday Challenge?

Then Sunday, Spaghetti Feast Day. My Home Domestic Worker/Maid was having off day that day. So in order to make sure that we eat that day, she cooked spaghetti, and tons of it too. Well, it was a solo case, I had to finish everything alone as my brother got sick of Spaghetti Feast already. Ate around 7--8 plates for the whole day, from morning till night, all 3 meals. Well, for my brother, he rather have instant noodle that to eat Spaghetti...

Monday was a research day, had to research and come up with a decision of what class and race i want to have for World of Warcraft.

Tuesday was the official start of World of Warcraft with the 10days free trial.

So on Saturday.... Didnt had a Valentine Date... Well.. Ended up at Bukit Timah Hill with some cadets

But guess what? before my way there... while was "shopping" at Sheng Siong... I saw Mr Eddie Foo. He brought his mother to hong xin to eat dim sum and went Sheng Siong with her to buy groceries HE WAS BRAGGING ABOUT HOW FILIAL he WAS.

ARghhh but he still looks young and all... and fun too...

Brings back memories during Pri 6. When the whole class knew that we our teacher was Mr. Foo, everyone was very scared, he was known as the most "strict" teacher as he was also the discipline master. But well.. Slowly slowly.. we got to know him better and our class had fun with him too...

Our favourite past time?

In Primary school, we often had to walk around here and there with the teacher brining you around.. walking in front... usually I would be the second in line (after Mr. Foo) and well... plain walking is boring... so guess what we will do?

A new research published in the New England Journal of Medicine revealed that gazing at larger breasts makes men healthier. A team of researchers led by gerontologist, Dr Karen Weatherby, monitored 200 male volunteers for 5 years. 100 of them were encourage to ogle at busty women daily whereas the other 100 were told to avoid such sightings altogether.

Their study concludes that sexual excitement as a result of admiring the sight of large breasts stimulates the heart to pump faster and improves blood circulation. Several minutes a day is sufficient to lower the risk of cardiac arrest and stroke by half.

According to the research, men over 40 will benefit by investing at least 10 minutes of their daily schedule to admiring well endowed females with breast sized "D-Cup" or bigger. In fact, the acts of ogling at such breasts are equivalent to a 30 minute gym workout and could prolong a man's life by up to 5 years.

Do smaller breasts give the same results?

Some women may wonder, does it only have effects on men when it is a large D-cup? What about a B-cup or an A-cup? Well, it seems that evidence are pointing to the direction that bigger breasts produce noticeable results as compare to smaller breasts.

So the story began.. when i was on my way home last friday... Today was a little special... Why you may ask... Because today I was not taking 75 home.. instead i was taking the MRT because had to went over to friend house to collect something... So in the MRT...

So there was this couple that was sitting at those mrt corner sits... where there is only 2 sits? yea... then so they wanna act ROMANTIC...and the girl TRIED to lie on the guy's shoulder...but guess what? The guy shoulder is so short that the girl is like... FORCING HER HEAD DOWN.. just to touch... BUT AT THE FIRST TRY... the girl... sadly... MISSED THE SHOULDER and like "dropped down"... sO NO WORRIES here come second attempt... this time to compromise... the guy sit UPSTRAIGHT abiiiiiiit more.... and YEA!!! the girl can lie on the shoulder.. BUT HERE COMES!!! dunno issit because they are not used to it or what? the guy hooked the girl's earphone and it hit the floor EVEN THOUGH they are NOT SHARING earphones... (each of them were hearing from their own MP3)

Is it really "RACE"

Well... back here in my sweet hometown, Singapore, we practise racial harmony. Reason being? We have 4 main different races(Chinese, Malay, Indians, OTHERS) living amongst us, each with our own different tradition, culture and way of life. Through racial harmony we hope that we can understand one another better and reduce conflicts due to misunderstanding.

However how true is this?

IS IT REALLY "RACE" that is causing the difference? I beg to differ. To me, I believe that compared to one's race, their religion plays a greater role in causing the difference amongst us. Why do I say so?

Heres a classic example that I experience with my friend(chinese) just few days ago

Me: Hey... Chinese New year coming... how you got celebrate?

Friend: Yea... Of Cos I will be celebrating...

Me: Har? Christian also got celebrate Chinese New Year meh?

Friend: Got la... Chinese New Year not religious lei, its CHINESE...

Friend: How come people always think that Christians do not celebrate chinese new year.

(cant remember the whole conversation but roughly got the idea)

Yea... Say w/e you want... Me being stupid/slow or whatever, cant differentiate between "RACE" and "RELIGION"... but well honestly... how many of us have never mixed up religion with race before? I doubt not many of us... especially so for those living in Singapore.

And would race really be an issue in the future? I doubt so too... with the increasing number of inter-racial marriages, in the near future, who knows.. Each child might carry the blood of all different races and the thing that differentiate them? Once again, its back to their religion

So you see... Our government has done a great job in bridging across the different races, however this breeds to another differences to surface.

Our government(who have very good foresight) has foreseen this issue too... Thus they came up with "Social Studies" as part of the academic curriculum instead of teaching the students about their religious stuffs. Instead of each individual religious stuffs. Everyone learnt a common set of moral values. But how good is this actually?

The difference(between religion) can still be "countered" through this education when we are young, however as we grow up, our beliefs strengthen, the difference began to surface again.

The point of saying all these is to hope to highlight this point to the people out there. Do not be blinded by others that everything that is causing the difference is due to race, but in fact, our religion plays a huge role too...

And also I have been thinking about this question for quite a while. If you are a Singaporean, especially a teenager, you might have notice the increasing number of christians out there. I am not saying that being a christian is bad or whatever. But if our older generation consisting of other religion believers passed away, and with more new and upcoming generations(of any races) converting to Christianity, Would christianity makes up a HUGE portion(lets say 80+ 90%?) of our population?

When this times comes... would an anti-trust law on religions be set(In Singapore)?

Why do I say so? Singapore is just a small LITTLE RED !DOT! on the map. with almost every inch of land being used to the best of its abilities. Should one day...most of its population belongs to a religion, and SHOULD the religion leader rebel, the effect/impact on this little DOT would be disaster.

As I was walking out of the classroom today... Justine showed me his handphone and he started his story...

You see, There are so many kinds of handphone in the world. Some which specialize in camera, some in walkman(music) while some are just so comfortable when you use them to SMS. However... out of so many speciality, so many types, so many models... There's only that one particular model that caught your eyes. So, Here comes the question that he asked.

This is the same as BGR. Out there in the world, there are so many girls, with different height, attitude, behaviour and EVERYTHING... however out of so many girls, there is only that particular one that caught your eyes.

So Here comes the question that he asked, "Would you change your handphone if a new model comes out". Well, JUSTINE JUST CHANGED HIS PHONE caused his excuse was that his old handphone died on him and he had no choice but to change... Using his theory... this would meant that if his wife died... he would go find a new one....

So what is it about him?
One thing I know is that he is married.

Whats so special about him?
He is married however his wife has not been with him for the past 2 months. His wife didnt meet with any mischap or accidents.

So why is his wife not with him?
His wife is away to India doing volunteer work...and yes.. for the past 2 months.

So?
His wife asked him to buy a camera for one of the person in India. I Dunno why or for what reason. And Yes, he bought. And ask Mr. Samuel who will be going to India to join the volunteer work this month to pass to her.

I am prejudiced against females. One of the time or when it happened most is during my NPCC times. When i assign work to the juniors, I would mostly assign males juniors to be in charge more often than female juniors and this leads to giving guys more opportunities and chances compared to the girls.

Rather than saying that I am more of a prejudiced against other group or the opposite sex in this case, I would say that I am of a in-group bias person. I tend to favour people/group who are much more similiar to me. For example, being in same CCA(was in NPCC and used to not like other uniform groups like NCC), or same hobby (thinking that people who play game and watch animation are usually smarter), and in this case I am prejudiced against females or in fact I was biased towards guys. I always felt that guys are more capable and more efficient in completing tasks. It may be because most of the people I hangout and interact with are mostly guys and all the members in NPCC for my year was all guys which made me had this mindset. Of course there's another factor which plays a large role too, which is the social norm that guys are usually more preferred and more highly regarded by many people especially the Asians and Chinese. Taking for example my parents, they would usually say like how guys should behave, how we should be more "guy-like" and help girls. This slowly gives the the impressions that girls are generally weaker and guys should do more things, and finally it results in prejudice. Also the media played a large role too. Taking for examples Superhero movies, most heros are usually males characters while girls are usually those that are being saved. This gave the impression that guys are more superior than girls and are more trustworthy.

One way I feel that there are many things that can be done to reduce prejudice is through education. Through education, we can learn about what is "sterotyping" and "prejudice", with the knowledge, we will be able to know when we sterotyping or being prejudice against others. When we realise when we are going through this in our mind, only then we will be able to slowly tell our mind how we should look at others and not be prejudice and sterotype them. However being able to know how we are thinking is easy, we ourselves still need to put in the effort to change our mindset and constantly tell ourselves that we should not be prejudice against others. Changing our mindset requires alot of effort and time, we cannot just change them with just a thought of "i am not going to be prejudice from tomorrow onwards".

Another way to reduce it is to have friends around you who will help you to identify and tell you when you are being prejudice against someone. Because prejudice is with us all the time, sometimes we may not realise that we are being prejudice against someone and we are unable to identify it as we would feel that we are being fair and justice to a certain group of people like we always had but in actual fact what we have always been doing is being prejudiced against them. With your friend beside you and telling you, you will be able to know what is right and what is wrong at a clearer view, or rather, from a third person's point of view.

I feel that it is impossible to really reduce prejudice/sterotypes on a large scale at an instant because some people like the superiority that they have over others and they would not understand what it means or feel like to be prejudiced against. However I believe that if we ourselves change and strongly believed and perservere, we will slowly be able to affect they way of thinking of the people around us.

First up. Monday

Had D07 Squad Falcon outing... Althought not everyone was able to make it but its still good and fun..

We went to Fish and Co to eat. A typical procedure when it comes to NPCC things. Guys sat on one table while the girls on the other. Did some catching up...talked about our year...life in school and MAINLY STILL NPCC... omg the girls are so freaked out by how we are able to keep talking about NPCC stuffs for HOURS!!!

Slacked for Tuesday... Then recieved a SMS from Merlvin asking "wan to go Kbox". At first I thought "WTH for no reason go wat KBOX waste time".. until around midnight...yea midnight which is 31st DEC then I realise that they are going there to countdown... so yea...then I got back to him to get more details from him.

Then Came Wednesday. Countdown.

Went KBox as mentioned earlier. Sang Songs, sing sing sing until the Kbox people invited us out to play some GAMES!!! before countdown.

First Game - Musical Chair. Although we didnt win the whole thing but well.. we got into the last 2 :D although no prize still :(

Second Game - No Name? Description of the game. The game master will name an item and we take it out and first to take out wins a voucher. AND SIGHHHH OF CAUSE... I WONT the FIRST ROUND... which is "RIGHT SOCKS".. then continued to lose lose lose.. but well the others won some too... until the LAST ROUND... THAT GUY CHALLENGED US... he said this before naming the item "I am sure the guys wont dare to take this out." SO... MUHAHAHAHA... with the teaching "REAL MAN DONT NEED EXCUSES" I WAS PREPARED... so the person said... "A Guy's SHIRT" THEN I TOOK OUT IMMEDIATELY... BUT GUESS WHAT... THAT CHEATER SAY... "I haven say finish... I wan a round neck SHIRT" OMG LA... He saw that mine was a V-neck one then said that thing.. SIGHHHH Thought I was able to Bao Tou Bao Wei.... but sad...

Today is the last day of the year... So lets do a review of the significance events of the whole year.

First up. Graduation from 74th CIBTC (aka D07)

Then went to MI and studied for...A week? or less

So after that... Went to work and went back to training for the first few months of the year till I got my posting for Poly and got into this.

Blur Blur Blur Blur, made it through the first few weeks not knowing anything...and got into project group. And also got into our project partner 18Chefs.

It feels so good to see someone you have known for a long time to change :D

Someone whom I have known, much longer than anyone who might be reading this

Someone whom I have known, much more about my family than anyone who might be reading this

This might sounds weird, but that person is older than me and I am writing down in this kind of tone...

He has changed so much better since I last "known" him. Or maybe this side of him resides within and I had not seen it or chose not to.

Used to come to my house... Almost daily, would play joke eat sleepover(so much that his father had to come to my house personally to "invite" him home... ) and using my com causing me having to stayed up late to use the com and got me scolded by parents ): (used to have only 1 com in the past)

Time past, perception changed. He was trying his best to earn money or obsessed with it, how his attitude changed, it was really disturbing, hated him so much that didnt even wanted to talk to him. Just acted sleeping or showed attitude everytime I see him...

And to today, when I saw him. Interacting with all the less fortunate people... it really is heart warming... Its a scene that I have seen long ago.. which was lost perhaps halfway through, or I chose not to see... but well :D I saw it again today

Now he is in HappyFriendClub and even invited me in :D

Wed and Thurs Night was disastrous.... Reason being? All thanks to her

Had to baby-sit her and ENTERTAIN HER FOR 2 NIGHTS! Its not an easy task seriously... You all should be grateful that your parents endure so much nonsense from you when you are young...

And look at the circle part.... This was my bed for 2 days... WHY!? because the little girl is sacred.. she asked me to sleep beside her... BUT WELL as the saying goes... "boy girl thin thin no green" So... no choice...i had to sleep at that little corner

Guess I missed out on the happenings on Sunday..

Sunday... I spend the whole day at home... doing basically 3 things

1) Lie down on my bed and sleep
2) with my laptop beside I chat when I wake up
3) eat spahgetti when I chat finish

Look at all the home-made food... YUM YUM

Lets take a close look at what the main course are.

MAIN COURSE 1:

Spahgetti with Tomato sauce. Acutally my maid wanted to cook the...creamy white sauce... for the first time... but well.. i was too scared of the results so I told her to just stick with the tomato one XD. And there was the side dish of fish and chips too (refer to ealier picture)

It was a day of FEAST and slack... It was just about eating sleeping and chatting... nothing else until night... When went over to Matthew's house to do work.

The outing started off with me... shopping at Sheng Siong for Sunday's Spaghetti Fever.. When MINGMING called me and ask me to get ready and go bus stop and board bus 33... SO.. I... WHO WAS STILL IN SHENG SIONG.. hurry my maid to faster just picked some chicken for the bak kut teh soup... ( She had already spent 10mins choosing...and she is still choosing )

Faster pay bill, Faster go home... Keep the things and went off...

Rushed down to Outram MRT station there the bus stop... WAIT WAIT WAIT... until one bus..which i thought was "33" came... so i board the bus and tried to find MING MING but coundnt find... Thinking that I board the wrong bus... I tried to look at the board at the back of the bus to see what bus I am on... GUESS WHAT... THE bOARD THERE IT SAYS "181M"..

SHIT!

I went over to the bus uncle and asked him what bus it is... and he said...

"33"

so...o... it wasnt i was having halluciation...its the behind board put wrongly... If this bus is 33? Why is there no MINGMING....So called MINGMING and try to find out situation and finally realised that there are actually 2 "33" bus. **The other one was just afew bus away from mine... So i Alighted and quickly board the second "33" bus...

God bless I am not so LOSER as to miss the bus when changing from "33" to "33"

Then reached meeting point... and walked over to meet Merlvin and Jeff? Then we went over to Coral resturant to book place first... while waiting for the rest.... While waiting... we play the "你叫什么"(You call what) game...

In conclusion, Merlvin is now also know as "鱼“，”菜“， ”肉“ ”虾“.. BUT thE MOST CLASSIC ONE WAS WHEN MERLVIN SAID...."我叫先"

However in Kay Yong's context its not 先 but 仙. (meaning not first but immortal or someting)

So... he got disturbed until when the person comes to take out order... she asked in Chinese.. "你们叫什么"... In the end there was an awkward silence... not because we didnt know what to order but no one dare to order.

NEXT COMES THE BEST PART

Yean drove WeiLiang to meet us... Just as WeiLiang alight from Yean's Car... Tun Kheong shouted "WEILIANG!" and run away and hide... I was so blur blur standing there...and in the end it became like i was the one who shouted XD''

If u guessed chicken rice... YOU ARE RIGHT!!! but note... this isnt orginal chicken rice... this pack of chiken rice... which looked so normal ACTUALLY COST 5BUCKS.... reason for being so expensive? it is actully... you know go kopitiam...that kind of special meal..got meat and vege? but just nice... they ran out of vege so they gave me more meat... and I EVEN asked to ADD MORE RICE... MORE RICE = ONE MORE BOWL... so well... took quite some time to stuff all the food inside...

So we had a guest lecture on Wednesday for SpeechComm Class... I was sitting on the right side of the class.... while chengxi was sitting on the left side... well...basically...everyone on the right was so AMAZED by how "FOCUSED" chengxi was as he stayed in THAT positiion for almost an hour "LISTENING" to the guest lecturer... Well... the right side was so amazed that we burst out into laughter XD

AND THIS... MY IS GROUP LEADER... Some of you may know him... and may think he is DAMN QUIET anD COOL... but trust me... he HAS A HIDDEN SELVE... The whole group thought he was the quiet kind too... until... 3 days ago... while we were doing project...

Part 1

So friday... After S&W... Went over to library to find Jonathan Hongling and Weiting... Took a nap and then went over to find Jian Zhong (JZ)... Gave him a call and he told me he is at OURSPACE@72.. so I happily walk to OURSPACE@72 and walk 2 ROUNDS trying to find him... and WOOOOO I took out my handphone and saw a message from JZ which says " Meet at the Bus stop "

Being Super sian... i gave him a call again (note that all conversation are after simple translation from mandrian)

Me: Where are u now?

JZ: I at canteen one now, u wan go bus stop wait for me?

Me: I at OURSPACE, I walk down will walk pass canteen... wait for me awhile

JZ: You go bus stop bah...

Me: Aiya Wait for me awhile I will reach...walking over already

So as one bus which cannot go there arrives JZ Suggested that... "why not we take this bus for one bus stop... because the next bus stop got THREE bus which can go over to BM".. Then ok lo... we just took that bus.. Just when we aboard the bus... we saw Bus 16(which goes to BM) BEHIND the bus that we took. OMG OMG OMG...After alighting need to chiong and take the bus behind or else jialat.............................

If many of you at this point of time think that we missed 16.... SORRY! We arent that loser :P

This incident happened afew months back... When I was a CI already and JZ still was not.

So... The night before someday... someday where I happened to have to go back Outram NPCC the next day... So he msn-ed me the night before and asked me

JZ: Hey u wan go pepper lunch tml mah?

Me: Tml Outram got thing lei... need go back

JZ: You dun wan go eat pepper lunch arh?

Me: Dun be stupid la plz... I tell you Outram got thing I need go back right... Still eat what stupid lunch.

JZ: ok lo...then I asked Lian An(another outram CI) to go

Me: Dun be stupid also la... I need go back means he need go back also... dun try anything funny lei..

Inside of me was like... Wa this kind of people... dunno how to think one... XD

So the next day came... we went back Outram... and after our thing at about evening.. 4 or 5 o clock? ... so heng JZ called again

JZ: Eh wan go eat Pepper Lunch now again mah

Me: You stupid or wat... now 5 o clock already lei... still eating lunch arh... go eat dinner already...

JZ: Erm... "Pepper Lunch" is a shop name.... not means go eat Lunch...

Me: O... like that arh...ok meet where?

Have you ever felt that sometimes what you want to do and what you do is different?

This is because there is 2 "person" inside you... One your conscious self ( which you will use your brain to think before acting ) and the other which is your... unconscious self? or I would say your instinctive self ( which you would act before thinking )

Usually it would be our conscious self taking in control of us... especially those who have recieved education. The more education you have... the more you would reveal your conscious self. However, no matter how well you can control... there would be times when you would reveal your unconscious self... Where you know what you do is not... "right" and you shouldn't be feeling/acting this way... But sometimes...it just comes so naturally and you cant control it, even if you are aware of it.

Somtimes...Dont you just hate that side of yourself...

I apologise if i have been over-sensitive and over-reacting at times....

Today had guest lecturer from Gawad Kalinga.

She shared about a program which is about nutrients for the people in Philippines. I cant remember the name of the program. Sorry!.

It really struck me. In that program she shared that the young kids would drink like... protein powder if I remembered correctly, to supply the kids with the nutrients that they need for the whole day.

Back before I thought that such powders drink were only like... for the rich(perhaps) and those who wants to tone up their body.. such and stuffs...blah blah blah... And i really hated it...

because i felt that it was like... purposely doing something just so that you look nice/build up your body... although wearing nice dress, make up and all...is also making yourself look nicer... but I felt that its different, dressing up and drinking powder drink to tone up your body...

but who knows... something that seems like a luxury in Singapore could actually meant also survival for the people in Philippines.

I Guess I didnt But I shall do it today. Re-ignited after the talk.

Apart from the thing that I usually say about my dream about having a family of two kids... earning a good pay... enough to eat pay and save up for old age... I am actually dreaming of another thing... It may sounds ridiculous but read it at your own risk

I have actually always wanted to dream of "linking" up the whole world together. Not sure what it means?

Well.. basically... the "world" we are living in right now is clearly seperated into continents - seen through our naked eyes. It is also seperated into beliefs - seen through our hearts.

What I wished for is to join up the different beliefs and make the world progress as a whole. And also to protect Earth...

It may sounds ridiculous because just making people from TWO different beliefs trust one another is not easy enough. Even in a multi-racial, multi-religion country like Singapore, there is no absolute trust between the different religion, race and beliefs. This is something that we all cannot deny.

Reason for having such a dream? Maybe its caused I watched too much anime... maybe its just a simple teenager dream...but well... here it is...

I believe that one day... ALIENs will attack Earth and it would take the whole world together to defend it. And it would take the whole world to advance together to find a way to defend it. Using the different niche area that each different race, religion, beliefs that each person has, Technology, weapons, ideas that different country has...

Like what the guest speaker said. Perhaps "God" has got a plan for us each all... But I believe its still up to us in the end to do it. Even if there was a perfect plan for us... If we do not take the first step... that plan will never work too...

If you ask me how I am going to achieve what I said... what is the end results... how it will be... blah blah blah... Seriously, I can only say that I doesn't know now too...

It has been at lest....4 or 5 days since I last updated? Really not in the mood to do anything these feel days...feel that lifes just in a rush everyday... BUT WELL... HERE I AM... BLOGGing... as requested.

Starting from friday... Friday had Sports and Wellness... - TENNIS - YES...its my first time playing tennis.. Sad to say... but the Tennis court was under renovation so we had to used the BASKETBALL COURT... and all we did was passing the ball to one another... (using a racket of cos)

So moving on to Saturday...

Saturday started out with a early morning on a trip to Simei Care Centre.

Reason being? To brainstorm for ideas for stores for their upcoming carnival or something like tt... So... woke up SUPER EARLY... to take the 1hour bus ride to Simei.... Was so happily sleeping on bus no.5

UNTIL...

So luckily that 2 Jokers-HongLing and WeiTing- board the same bus... and HONGLING SO HAPPILY pulled out my earphone... for a moment.. I thought that i was dropping downwards XD... FOR THAT... I SHOULD HAVE CONSIDERED NOT TALKING TO HER FOR 3MONTHS!!! Disturb my beautiful morning nap....

Was at Simei Care Centre... Was half-dead already when everyone was brainstorming... the only thing that really kept me awake and participate as much as i can so that everything will end quick... IS THE LUNCH

Had student meal - one cheese baked rice, ice-cream and one ice lemon tea... ADDING on.. i got a plate of free leftover pasta sauce from WeiTing. YUM YUM

After that we took MRT down to The Cathay to watch HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. But while we were on the train...no one dared to played with gabrellie... Just take a look at her "dulan face"

After watching HSM3... went walking around for awhile...before having a LATE DINNER... just so that I will not supper... Sobx... Life without Supper Seriously Sucks.

Jonathan shared that water can be affected by our emotion, thinking... How true it is?

He shared that if you shower a glass of water with love care and concern... and after a few days when you crystallize it, it will become very nice crystals...

However if you scold it everyday and after afew days when you crystalize it... it will form very ugly crystals.

Do you believe that water can actually detect our emotions and be affected by it?

Why cant everything be like what happens in... not fairytales... but animes...

One of my Favourite animes... is Hunter X Hunter. I learnt many thing from the anime. One thing that was emphasised(dunno how to spell)... Is the the chinese saying " 在家靠父母，除外靠朋友". Apart from the normal anime which focus on fighting, saving the world, killing bad people.... this anime focuses more on the friendship of the main characters. How their trust and believes had lead them to do many many things...

Was playing with Chris aka @ngelwei who came over to my place... It was so fun when we played together... we scolded/insulted/be sacastic to one another straight in the face. and complained about the other players.... XD

Why cant things be simple and easy. No scheming plots and everything.

How I like my friendship with my brother friends and some of my friends... theres nothing to worry about... everything was done in the name of FFS - For Fun Sake... Not caring for the emotion..saying everything in a VERY VERY Straight forward method... spamming insults... extreme sacarsm as if there is no more tomorrow...

theres no need to worry about how the other party would feel because we know that at the end of the day... We will still be who we are...

After Lesson went over to library with Shaun and Jonathan and slacked there till... SIAO SIAO(Laughing) theraphy starts...

Today we were so siao that we siao for at lest a siao period of one hour. Hongling even siao until she was hugging the pole and Kenn siao until he was Rolling on the floor SIAOING (ROFS)...

After Siao Siao thearphy we went to eat at Pizza Hut.. Had BAKED RICE.. omg... In my opinion it was not filling at all... well... for me... at lest ......SERIOUSLY....
